Meeting back in 2017, we've build some of the best lawns, grass tennis courts and private golf greens together on the way to starting So & Mo. Marc comes from a world of building and maintaing some of the best golf courses in the UK, Europe & USA. Luke's journey has been residential gardening and landscaping to turf supplier before getting back on the tools for bigger projects with Marc.
The seed was planted
We’ve worked on maintaining some of the top golf venues, football pitches and fine lawns in the country. However...even with our combined 30 years of experience we found domestic lawn care products quite confusing and pretty disappointing, especially with the results we were getting with sport industry products. Why was there so much choice? How do customers without our training choose the right one? How do I get results all year round? We started to recognise the desire for a bright and healthy lawn was outweighed by the chore that came with achieving it. So we decided to do something about it.
We can do much better
Our goal was simple. We wanted to bring the products we used in the sports industry and make them available to the homeowner. Tailor for each lawn and deliver the right formulation when it's needed and the correct amount already measured for results. Finally, always be on hand for advice and expertise. Working with agronomists and manufactures who are used to producing results at the top level we built a range of formulations that give the lawn all the nutrients it needs for 12 months of the year. We've packaged everything up in a handy sachet so no measuring or putting the wrong amount down.
Time to grow
Protecting green space is a huge responsibility and one which we’re wanting to take on. Our products are designed to make sure everyone can take pride in their own green space as keeping lawns as healthy and as big as possible makes a serious impact on our environment.
